You are not the only one to notice this and there have been designs and plans that never left the "drawing board" because they would be bad for the oil market. In 1974 there was a young engineer that designed a car that would get 100Mpg and have a top speed of about 75Mph. For me, it is simply to remind myself that each and every one of us has our own struggles and trials that we deal with on a daily basis. Everyone is much further from perfection than we may perceive them to be. As long as we continually remind ourselves that, it's much easier NOT to get caught up in feeling shame, guilt or disappointment in ourselves.

Haha. It's cute, but not if she's walking in them! I was watching a Doctor Oz speciall where he talked about the detrimental effects wearing heels has on the knee tendons. But, I'm a goon, and I eat up health stuff like that sometimes. :) It's probably why I'm so addicted to Bones and House.

It's good to try to stay positive. You can always look back at those hard days, see the happy things you said or mentioned, and think, "Yep. I made it through that."

This is what makes this country great! We can have opinions that are opposite of each other and still listen and respect each others opinions. I have also seen immense anger on the democratic side of things when President Bush was our President. Where was the respect that he deserved by just holding the office of the President? Where was the outcry when his name and beliefs were being trampled. I agree we need to be civil in communicating with each other, but we also need to be informed and aware of wolves in sheep clothing. This great country was founded on inspiration from on high. Our Prophet has instructed us to be prepared for this great country to hang by a thread in the latter-days. I believe that time is now. I believe our leaders at this time are a part of this revelation being fulfilled. We cannot be complacent and expect to be taken care of by our government. We cannot depend on the decisions of man to form our future. We must depend on ourselves and our Heavenly Father.

This, my friend, is one of the most intelligent, thought out blog posts that I have ever read. And, I agree with every word of it. We were just having a discussion with a friend, about how (in my opinion) there will probably be a lot of LDS people who, when standing before their Judge and Savior, are going to be rudely awakened to the fact that their supposed "righteous" lives were, in fact, NOT doing what the Savior taught.
